I received an email saying my course will expire on 8/31/23- what does this mean?

The New York Board of Real Estate has published an updated pre-license course curriculum and required Aceable to obtain approval for a new version of this course based on the revised 77-hour salesperson course syllabus which became effective 12/21/22.  All existing 75-hour pre-license course will expire on August 31, 2023.  Once the course expires, if you have not passed the final exam, you will need to start over from the beginning in the newly updated pre-license course.

If you would rather start the new course before August 31, feel free to contact us and we will add the course to your Aceable account. Otherwise, you may continue your progress, take your exam, and obtain your certificate of completion up until expiration. All certificates of completion will remain valid after the course expires.

Thanks for your understanding as we work to maintain compliance with state regulations. If you have any questions or concerns, you may reach out to our Customer Experience team
