I completed real estate education elsewhere. Do I still need to complete the 40-hour pre-licensing course?

Michigan runs a tight ship when it comes to pre-license education. Salesperson applicants cannot apply or substitute any Bachelor’s or Master’s degree to meet the state’s pre-license requirement. You also cannot apply or substitute any other kind of real estate education - in order to earn your real estate salesperson license, you must complete a state-approved 40-hour pre-license course.
