Every hopeful Michigan salesperson needs an “employing broker” in order to receive an active license and start making money. But - what does an employing broker do?

An employing broker is responsible for:

  • Maintaining a business license and broker license
  • Managing agents, broker associates, and office personnel
  • Managing clients
  • Marketing and brand building
  • Handle the commission funds and distribute the agent’s portion
