What are the steps to become a real estate agent?

  1. Make sure you’re qualified.
  2. Complete AceableAgent. (getting started and taking the course)
  3. File your application, fee, and course completion certificates with TREC.
  4. Receive your eligibility letter from TREC.
  5. Get your fingerprints and background check done.
  6. Schedule, take, and pass your licensing exam with Pearson VUE.
  7. Receive your inactive license from TREC.
  8. Find a sponsoring broker.
  9. Receive your active license from TREC.
