The National portion is made up of 85 questions and you need to get 56 of them correct to pass this portion.
The Texas State Law portion is made up of 40 questions and you need to get 21 of them correct to pass this portion.
There isn’t a combined minimum score that you need in order to pass. This means that to pass the whole exam, you have to pass both sections. For example, if you got at least 56 questions right on the National portion but less than 21 questions right on the State portion, this means you passed the National portion and failed the State portion and therefore failed your licensing exam overall. You would be able to retake your licensing exam and you only have to pass the portion that you failed.
