How do I know what courses I need to retake if I have failed the licensing exam 3 times?

If you failed both portions of the licensing exam 3 times, you will need to take 60 hours of additional education. That means 2 pre-licensing courses.

If you failed just one portion of the licensing exam 3 times, you will need to take 30 hours of additional education. That means just 1 pre-licensing course.

It is up to you which of the 6 pre-licensing courses you want to retake. TREC does not have any rule about needing to take a specific course in this situation.

After completing the required 30-60 additional hours, you will get another certificate of completion for each repeated course. You can take these course with us or with a provider -- you are not restricted!
