Does Arizona offer reciprocity with other states?

Arizona doesn’t offer reciprocity with any other state, but it does issue licenses based on Out-of-State License Recognition

To qualify, you must:

  • Complete the Arizona 6-Hour Contract Writing Course
  • Pass the Out-of-State License Recognition State Specific Exam You'll need to be sure to apply for a license within one year from the date of passing the state specific exam!
  • Be an Arizona resident
  • Be currently licensed in another state for at least one year
  • Have completed approved Real Estate education in the other state
  • Have passed a Real Estate license exam in another state
  • Not have had a license or certificate revoked or voluntarily surrendered in any other state or country
  • Not have had any discipline imposed by another regulating entity, and have no pending complaint, allegation, or investigation
