Fingerprints are required of all applicants so that the Arizona Department of Real Estate can check your background. Keep in mind that the process can take 5-10 weeks, so we recommend starting this a bit earlier in your licensing journey. You don't want to get held up at the finish line!
Fingerprint Clearance Card applicants may submit a paper application by clicking here. You may submit an online application with the DPS by clicking here. The application process will include steps to:
- Submit the application for fingerprinting and the fingerprint clearance card
- Schedule an appointment at a convenient location
- Pay the fingerprinting and Fingerprint Clearance Card application fee by credit card
- Wait to receive Fingerprint Clearance Card by mail
