Once your course completion has been successfully filed, you are sent a Notice of Exam Eligibility within 2-3 days after application receipt and acceptance:
- The Notice will be sent by email. Add “LICAPPdonotreply@ncrec.gov” as a safe email address in your anti-spam filter in order to receive the Notice.
- You should wait one business day following receipt of your electronic Notice of Exam Eligibility before contacting PSI to schedule your examination
You have two options when it comes to scheduling your licensing exam:
Option 1: Register online 24/7 using this website.
Option 2: Register via phone by calling 855-579-4638. PSI registrars are available Monday through Friday between 7:30 a.m. and 10:00 p.m., and Saturday-Sunday, between 9:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., Eastern Time.
In almost all cases you will be able to take an examination at the test center of your choice within seven (7) calendar days of contacting PSI unless you request a later appointment or have previously taken the exam.
When you schedule your examination appointment, be prepared to:
- Confirm a location and a preferred date and time for testing
- Provide your Social Security Number
